Smoky Mountain National Park

The most visited national park in America, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park draws more than 10 million visitors annually. Nestled between the high peaks of the Southern Appalachians in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, the park contains some of the most spectacular scenery and wildlife in the United States.

gatlinburg

Gatlinburg is known as a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Many of its key attractions offer sweeping views of the neighboring park, including Gatlinburg SkyPark and the record setting SkyBridge, the 407-ft. Space Needle observation tower downtown, a 2.1 mile aerial cable car ride that journeys from Downtown to the popular amusement park and ski resort Ober Mountain.

pigeon forge

Pigeon Forge is the home of Dollywood, country singer Dolly Parton’s Appalachian-themed park consisting of rides, an adjoining water park and a museum of her costumes and memorabilia. Pigeon Forge also offers country music revues like the Smoky Mountain Opry, dinner theaters such as Dolly Parton's Stampede, the Island and outlet malls.

Sevier County shopping centers and antique stores feature a comprehensive mix of national store brands and locally owned establishments and boutiques. Besides mall shopping, try visiting some local stores for a taste of Tennessee. Gatlinburg also has world renowned art and craft centers. Notably, Arrowmont School of Art.
